Gentle Winds Promotions was formed to promote live music.
   We feel strongly about the impact live music creates and will work to find exactly what is needed for you.

Terri Aldrich holds a degree in Management from the University of Mary, Bismarck, ND. She is past president and member of the board of directors of the Minot Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Minot Renaissance Zone Committee and The Minot State University Board of Regents. She is also the ND State Captain for Americans for the Arts. An engaging and energetic speaker, Terri was called to speak about arts, quality of life and the economic impact of the arts before congress in 2010. Art is more than an occupation; it is a passion for Terri.

An accomplished vocalist, Terri has performed as a soloist with the Western Plains Opera Company and numerous performance groups. She currently performs  weekly with Cool Beans Jazz Duo https://www.coolbeansjazz.com/ . She produced her own CD entitled "Somewhere" and is a featured soloist on the "House of Praise" and “Everlasting God” choral CD.

Steve Veikley

Steve Veikley holds a BA in Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley, and an arranging/composition diploma from Berklee College of Music in Boston.  He has been in US Army bands, played trumpet and sang with the “Glenn Miller Orchestra”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=296TI2PUkck led by Buddy Morrow, and worked for “Jack Six” in the Claridge Hotel Orchestra in Atlantic City.  Steve has taught in several private schools and has formed and led his own groups for many years including Java Jive Jazz quintet and the Gentle Winds octet, both of Minot and most recently Cool Beans Jazz Duo https://www.coolbeansjazz.com/

Mantrose, Warren Covington, Benny Carter, Urbie Green, Peanuts Hucko, Hod O’Brien, Michael Moore, Sammy Davis, Jr., Aretha Franklin, Rosemary Clooney, Martha Rae, Kaye Starr, Helen O’Connell, Patti Page, Susan Anton, Vic Damone, Robert Goulet, Anthony Newly, Della Reese, The Mills Brothers, Bob Eberle, Lester Lanin, Al Martino, Jerry Vale, and Enzo Stuarti.
Janice Shultz Veikley

Janice Veikley is currently employed as a medical transcriptionist for Trinity Regional Eyecare center. She trained early in church and school choral groups where her singing and dancing contributed to winning many Sweet Adeline Chorus competitions. She has performed extensively with quartets and choruses throughout the Eastern seaboard and Florida during her 20-year tenure with Sweet Adelines. Jan  has been successful in forming jazz quartets including the “Starlighters” and the "Quarter Notes". Jan is a member of the “Sisters by Choice” ladies trio and also performs with the Gentle Winds Orchestra.
